What kind of counselling services do you provide?
We offer professional counselling services for parents and families who may be struggling with mental health challenges, stress, or the unique demands of raising a child with special needs. Additionally, we provide counselling and therapeutic support for children with developmental differences, helping them manage emotions, improve coping skills, and navigate social situations effectively.
What are respite services?
Respite services give families a short break from daily caregiving responsibilities. Our trained therapists provide safe, structured, and engaging activities for your child while you take time to rest, manage personal commitments, or focus on family well-being.
Who are the supervisors?
Our clinical team includes Dr. Jeff Sherman and Dr. Munazza as supervisors. Rafia Irum serves as the Clinical Director, overseeing therapy programs and ensuring the highest quality of care. Both supervisors are OAP providers and have signed the necessary insurance documentation.
Are the services covered by OAP funding?
Yes, our services are covered by OAP funding. Both Dr. Jeff Sherman and Dr. Munazza are OAP providers, ensuring that your child’s therapy is supported through the program.
Can therapy be provided at home or school?
Absolutely. We offer flexible therapy sessions at your home, your child’s school, or at our center, depending on your family’s needs and your child’s comfort.
Who can attend the social skills group?
Our social skills groups are designed for high-functioning children who can maintain conversations, follow group instructions, and do not exhibit significant behavioral concerns. These groups focus on practicing social interactions, building friendships, and developing confidence in a structured and supportive environment.
